Which ISP Programmer Adapter can be used?
The ISP programmer is compatible with the Atmel STK300 evaluation board from Kanda. There is various free third party
software available to use with the ISP programmer like the Atmel ISP software, which is available on the Atmel web
site. Also available is the free PonyProg software (Win and Linux) for
editing and programming of your compiler-produced hex-code files. The ISP programmer can be connected to your
computer's parallel port and also works with other programming software (e.g. the
BASCOM-AVR BASIC compiler).
Programming Software for the ATmega103 Micro Board
Each software programming tool which supports the SPI-programming-mode of the ATmega103 can be used. The official
ATMEL AVR ISP Program, the free PonyProg Software, the ISP
function of BASCOM-AVR BASIC compiler and several other
development environments with ISP programming is suitable.
