Atmel ATmega 128 Board
ATmega Board The Atmel ATmega 128 is one of the most powerful 8bit micro controllers. It is available in a TQFP casing, the ATmega 128 motherboard is only 45 x 45 mm in size. It has a reset circuit, an "In System Programming" (ISP) socket and a 5V voltage regulator. The ATmega 128 motherboard is first choice for projects that have to be developed on short time-scales. Applications are from display controls (especially for memory intensive graphic displays), applications in the telemetry sector, complex controlling tasks up to extending robot instructions. ATmega 128 board can be purchased in a 6 MHz to 16 MHz version. Both modules can be equipped with the 16 MHz version of the processor, so an upgrade is easy.

This board is not just an adapter but a complete motherboard for the ATmega 128. As soon as you connect the power supply and an ISP plug, you can start programming the 128Kbyte programmable flash of the ATmega 128 chip with your application software which can be written in 'C', Basic or Assembler. Give your developments a new head start and convince yourself by using the ATmega 128 motherboard.

The ATmega 128 motherboard has a 2 x 5 pins programming connector, which enables 100 percent In System Programming. A multiplexer at the bottom of the board switches the ATmega pins during programming and the LED on the board indicates programming activity.

All Atmel ATmega 128 pins are available at two pin double rows, i.e. there are no restrictions for future extensions. For example external RAM can be added effortlessly. All 6 ports and ADC inputs are available. Additionally there is a 5V (50mA) output which is useful to supply your external circuits.
