Our CANdat system is based on our CANmicro board. The CANmicro board is the perfect solution for Data Acquisition, Control Systems, Factory Automation, Factory Processes, and Management Information requirements.
It uses Distributed CAN bus network technology which enables the
use of up to 110 devices on a single pair of twisted cable. The distances between a PC and the devices to be monitored
or controlled can be up to a maximum of 10km. The maximum speed of the CAN network is 1Mb/s at 40 meters and drops to
5kb/s at 10km. The board has Inputs for Switches, Sensors, Micro-switches, PLC controllers, etc. The Outputs are
capable of driving Relays, Solenoids, Contactors, Lamps, etc. The Analog Inputs can measure Temperature, Pressure and
Voltage. The board also incorporates a Real time clock to provide time stamping data.
